Royal Australian College of Physicians

The Royal Australasian College of Physicians is a college responsible for training, educating and representing over 13,500 physicians and pediatricians in Australia and New Zealand. Seed have worked with RACP to implement Alfresco WCM, DM and Collaboration. RACP use over 200 sites to provide collaboration between physicians across multiple academic disciplines. They manage and present many media types such as Video, Lectures and Documents through alfresco and present them on their web site for general consumption.

National E-Health Transition Authority

The National E-Health Transition Authority Limited (known as NEHTA) was established by the Australian, State and Territory governments to develop better ways of electronically collecting and securely exchanging health information. Seed have been engaged to implement an Adoption library containing E-Health information material NEHTA creates to support adoption by the eHealth sector.

Austraining International

Austraining International is a specialist project management and international development organisation managing programs in Asia, the Pacific, Africa, Latin America, the Caribbean and the Middle East. Seed has helped them implement a DM and Collaboration system for all of their documentation. Austraining use Alfresco as a defacto Intranet whereby Sites are used for managing the multiple projects Austraining undertake and a central repository is used for managing Quality Documents.

Nissan Australia

Nissan Australia engaged Seed to help them manage their websites using Alfresco ECM. The Nissan corporate website (www.nissan.com.au) was redesigned in order to provide engaging information about Nissan vehicles to customers and ultimately sell more vehicles. Key considerations were a new site design that was easy to navigate, feature rich and that allowed users to find the information they needed quickly.

Toyota Australia

Seed were engaged by Toyota Australia to migrate www.toyota.com.au into Alfresco. The project aimed to reduce the cost of supporting the current website on Vignette while providing the enhanced management and usability functions inherent in Alfresco Web Content Management. Toyota’s website acts as both a feature rich marketing tool and an information portal for the many areas that Toyota are active in the community, examples being Toyota’s support for the Beijing Paralympics and Australian Football League (AFL).

Macmillan Publishers Australia

Macmillan is one of the largest and best known international publishing houses in the world, characterised by academic and professional, educational, fiction and non-fiction publishing of the highest quality. It incorporates a number of well known brands such as Macquarie Dictionary, Macmillan Education, Nature, Palgrave Macmillan, Pan and Picador. Macmillan identified ECM as a key requirement for the group in order to respond quickly to marketing their brands on the web and also to cut costs by managing the publishing process more effectively.

Swan Hill Rural City Council

As one of the largest councils in Victoria, Swan Hill Rural City Council services both a Rural and Urban community. Seed were engaged to implement an ECM that is used for managing all Documents and Records for the council. Seed helped to develop an ECM enablement methodology that Swanhill IT could use to efficiently migrate each department within the council to the Alfresco ECM environment. Seed designed and lead initial business analysis workshops with participation from IT staff across the Financial and HR departments.

Tait Electronics

Tait Radio Communications is a global leader in designing and delivering radio solutions which are the right fit for a variety of industries including; public safety agencies, government services, utilities and urban transport providers. Their global operations mean they are heavy users of collaboration software. Tait engaged Seed to do a Proof of Concept (POC) of an ECM/Collaboration toolset that could meet their collaboration needs. The proposed tool set deemed to be unsatisfactory for Tait’s advanced needs.

Australian Red Cross Blood Service

Australian Red Cross Blood Service (ARCBS) approached Seed to help them redesign their enterprise intranet (Connect 2). ARCBS employ more than 3000 employees working in scientific, medical and support services. The primary source of work related information for ARCBS employees is Connect 2. Seed were asked to redesign Connect 2 with the primary concern for ARCBS being the ability for users to quickly find the information that was relevant to them.

EMC Professional Services

Seed has partnered with EMC Professional Services on a number of Documentum Enterprise Content Management consulting engagements such as an evaluation of Enterprise Search at Rio Tinto and the design for the technical architecture for Documentum at City Bank Korea.
